What is an artist’s experiment film?
Well, it can anything you like… it can be any type of experimental film - animation, video collage, performance documentation, video of creative processes etc., however, we are looking for more non-traditional and non-narrative type films. Submitted films should be no longer than 6 minutes.
Practice | Process - The title of the screening speaks to the practice and process of making anything experimental, so any films you make will connect directly or indirectly to this title and can be submitted, and we will accept an extremely broad interpretation of the title, so practically any film you make will fit the criteria. Your film could be the result, a part of your practice or your artistic process, or you could also take the words and respond or interpret them as you like.
