Get Involved
VCAS thrives on collaboration, community, and the energy of those who share our passion for contemporary art and cultural exchange. As a growing non-profit in its beginning stages, we welcome support in many forms—from individuals looking to learn and contribute, to institutions seeking meaningful partnerships. If you believe in what we do and want to get involved, we would love to hear from you!

Volunteering
Our volunteers are essential to making our exhibitions and events happen. Volunteering is a chance to go behind the scenes, get to know the artists, connect with the VCAS team, and be part of a creative and welcoming community.
Tasks can range from helping set up the exhibition space or running the bar at events, to offering support in areas like communications, design, or fundraising.
Whether you’re just looking to lend a hand or bring in specific expertise, we’d love to hear from you.
Internships
We offer hands-on internship opportunities for students and emerging arts professionals interested in exhibition management, communications, arts administration, and event production. Interns gain practical experience working closely with our team on exhibitions, residencies, and public programs. Internships are typically 2–6 months long and may be tailored to your academic or career goals. As a small and growing organization, we are unfortunately not in a position to offer paid internships at this time. We encourage self-funded internships, such as those supported by Erasmus+ or similar mobility programs.

Join the Team
We’re always open to hearing from people who are passionate about the role of art in society. Whether your background is in the arts or in another field—such as business, education, or the non-profit sector—we value a diversity of skills and perspectives. While our core team roles are currently volunteer-based, members have the opportunity to take part in shaping the organization—with the possibility to become involved in our board. As we grow and secure funding, paid opportunities may also arise on a project-by-project basis. If you’re interested in joining our growing team, we’d love to hear from you.
Collaborative Partnerships
Are you an artist collective, educational institution, cultural organization, or from a non-arts field such as science, technology, or social work? We welcome proposals for collaborative projects and co-productions. VCAS values exchange and interdisciplinary dialogue, and we’re eager to work with like-minded partners to co-create bold, meaningful programming.
